Squadron 25 Today

Cable Composite Squadron 25 of the California Wing of the Civil Air Patrol (charter PCR-CA-193) is comprised of 22 cadets and 31 senior members. Under the command of Capt Travis Carney, the squadron participates in a variety of activities, including ground and air search and rescue missions, aerospace education, airshow support, and color guard ceremonies and competitions.

The squadron operates a Cessna 182 aircraft, utilized for search and rescue activities, as well as for providing orientation flights to our cadet members. We also operate a van equipped with direction-finding equipment.

Entry Gate

The squadron meets on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at Cable Airport. Entrance to the airport on meeting nights is at the 13th Street gate (lower marker on the map). Once on the airport grounds, drive to the right and past the rows of hangars. When you get to the stop sign, Squadron 25 headquarters is on the right-hand side (upper marker on the map).
